What We Do
At Home Base, we provide Cincinnati families with high-quality, all-inclusive childcare after school. ​Your child will receive transportation from their school to Home Base, healthy snacks, homework help, Jewish learning, time to play, and more.
We make sure that you have the childcare you need and an experience your children will love. Learn more about our services below.
Home Base will pick up your child from school to spend the afternoon at Wise Center in Amberley. Learn more about our transportation schedule here.
Playtime
Children utilize the fantastic indoor and outdoor areas of Wise Center to play with friends. Our playground, soccer field, and hiking trail are among the outdoor amenities available to students while at Home Base.
Healthy Snacks
At Home Base, your children will enjoy healthy snacks including fresh fruits and vegetables every day. On Fridays, we celebrate Shabbat with challah and grape juice.
Jewish Friends & Learning
At Home Base, your child will form meaningful friendships with other Jewish children. In our immersive environment, Hebrew words and Jewish culture are embedded in all activities, and in our schedule, we dedicate time each day to learning about the Jewish holidays and calendar.
Homework Help
With our 1:7 teacher-to-student ratio, your child will always have a quiet place and the support of a Home Base teacher to complete their homework.
School's Out Camp Days
Home Base offers daytime programs in addition to regular afternoon programming on days children are off from school.
Our Calendar
Home Base meets Monday through Friday during the school year. We are closed on federal and Jewish holidays.

DAILY SAMPLE SCHEDULE
School Pick-Up - A Home Base staff member will pick up your child at their school and check them in on our Procare app, so you'll know as soon as your child is in our care.

Welcome & Snack - When children walk through our doors, we give them time to unwind while they catch up with friends and teachers over healthy snacks.

Community Time - Building community is one of the most important things we do at Home Base. Every day, all students and teachers come together to check in on one another, celebrate birthdays, learn new Hebrew words, sing Jewish songs, and more.

Activities - Hebrew and Jewish learning is a blast at Home Base! Children learn about Jewish values, holidays, and Hebrew through art, drama, sports, games, and play.

Homework/Reading/Board Games - We help your children complete their homework at Home Base while children without homework enjoy quiet time through reading or board games.
​
Free Play - Your children will enjoy the many facilities at Wise Center to meet their physical and social needs after school, including the playground, open room, hiking trail, and soccer field.
